These scale studies were designed to help students practice the scales, arpeggios, and rhythms found in the 2022-23 TMEA Tuba Audition materials. The studies are meant to help you practice difficult aspects of the etude outside of the etude so you can fully commit to making music and expressing ideas when performing, not thinking about notes and rhythms.

Each etude has its own set of scale studies which include studies in the etudes primary tonality and secondary tonalities explored throughout the etude.
