Modal Interlude for low brass quartet
$1.99Price
What started as an assignment for my Modal Counterpoint turned into a new low brass quartet. Modal Interlude is a piece that can be played on any combination of low brass instruments (trombones, euhponiums, tubas, cimbassos, serpents, contrabass trombones, Wagner Tuben(?)).
Modal Interlude is a short composition in three sections each with its own distinct character. The piece calls attention to expressivity of individual players and evokes a vocal-like quality. If at all possible this piece should be performed in a VERY reverberant space for extra pretty low sounds.
